1. I spend a lot of time alone, just thinking about stories and characters, myself, animals... anything. Sometimes I overwhelm myself and have to force myself to do something mindless like play a game or dance so I don't drive myself nuts!
2. I have a serious nail-biting problem. I wore my teeth down a bit and even chipped a piece of one of my front teeth from all the biting. I almost fainted!! But.. I'm still guilty of chomping. D'oh.
3. When I get depressed, I tend to try and get rid of a lot of my possessions, like things I've made, clothes, or plushies. Somehow shedding things I don't really need makes me feel less cluttered.
4. So much frog love. I don't even.
5. I recently learned about "Analytical Psychology" from a friend, and in applying it to myself I've been finding ways to cope with some of my own problems. It's pretty cool if you're into psychology, dreams, and spirituality all tied into one package.
6. I can safely say that, even though I love all sorts of music, Boards of Canada is my favorite band. Ever. Srsly. Listening to them is relaxing and often puts me into a trance, and I'm always inspired by them to create new images or work on my book.
7. Speaking of books, To Open a Mind's Eye is the title of a book I've been writing since the beginning of this year. The idea has been in my head for years and started off as a Quizilla story back in 2004! I'm currently 60 pages in, woo!
8. I run screaming from religious discussion. I've was raised Catholic, studied Wicca heavily for years, and was even Atheist at one point. Now my spirituality is fairly private.
9. My 10-year-old cat, Trunks, is pretty much my best friend. It's okay, you can laugh ~!
10. Twitch and my 6 year anniversary just recently passed. I can't believe it's been this long! IN YO FACE, "it's just high-school sweet-heart love" CLAIMERS ! ((Man that used to make me so mad when people would say that !))
11. I live in a swampy neighborhood and have more critter-neighbors than human ones. I'm never sure if being swarmed by bugs all the time is worth all the awesome critters I've encountered <xD
12. Despite being on a diet for the past 2 months, I still consider myself a huge foodie. I love food~!
13. Tea is best drank. I will drink hot tea in 90 degree weather. FIGHT ME BRO.
14. Sometimes I sit down and think about trying to be a vegetarian since I'm such an animal lover... And then I remember plants are alive too and never cease to amaze me. And then I remember that nature's a bitch, and as hard as we humans try to stand on the side and be amazed at our world, it's still going to be a bitch. So I keep on truckin' as an omnivore.
15. A year or two ago, I almost gave up on art all-together. Art has been my life for my entire life. I don't think I had ever been more lost than I was after making that decision. Luckily I realized what a mistake it was within the month. Never give up your dreams.
16. I would SO LOVE to learn how to sew! My mom even gave me her old, unused-for-years sewing machine. I have yet to get the courage to try using it. I hope it's functional though! I can't remember how to use the thing, haha!
17. I sometimes feel like I was born too late. I would have loved to work for movies and such with animatronics, puppets, and stop-motion animation. I hate CG so much, and it really has replaced puppets and most costumes for movies. I even enjoy BAD stop-motion and puppetry over CG. It's just not "real" enough yet.
18. I love tattooooooos~!!! If I had money to blow on silliness, I'd have quite a bit. I currently have three- a little Totoro tattoo my sister got me for my birthday, and 2 done by my ex-roommate. He was a ... well, he WANTED to be a tat artist.
19. I will bend over backwards for those I care about, but I refuse to let anyone do the same for me. It actually stresses me out to no end to have someone even offer to help me out in a way that may inconvenience them.
20. I love collecting feathers that I find around my neighborhood. I currently have 2 turkey vulture feathers, several crow feathers, and 4 turkey feathers.
